The stylish DS Super PH500M attracts attention with its retro style and orange dial. A number of features such as the magnetic field resistant spiral spring in NivachronTM and water resistance of up to 500 m make this diver's watch the perfect companion on every trip ? even under water.
BY DIVERS, FOR DIVERS
The logo of the German sports diving association VDST has been immortalized on the back of the DS Super PH500M's housing. But Certina has not only alluded to its love for the underwater world with this decoration? when developing the watch, the Swiss watchmaker turned to these passionate divers for their expertise.
EXTRA BRACELET
Thanks to the innovative design behind the extended strap, the watch can be worn comfortably over a wetsuit. Members of the German sports diving association VDST can also order two extra NATO bracelets for their watch ? one in standard length and the other in extra long.
ITS HONORS PAST
The historical predecessor of this watch had a golden opportunity to show its strength in 1969, when four scientists wore it during their two-month research trip to the underwater habitat Tektite I. They agreed that the watch was a resounding success!
WATCHMAKER ART 2.0
At the heart of this model beats a Powermatic caliber with a completely new coil spring in Nivachron?. The innovative material has been developed for increased resistance to magnetic fields. Thanks to its titanium base, the Swiss-made coil spring is also extremely resistant to temperature fluctuations and has excellent shock resistance.
POWER RESERVE OF UP TO 80 HOURS
The power reserve is the time a fully wound mechanical watch can run before it stops? usually between 38 and 42 hours. The Powermatic 80 caliber enables a power reserve of up to 80 hours! So you can leave this watch for up to three days before it needs to be reset? now if you can do without it for so long...
